Heartland Industries is a non-profit organization in Clay County. Adult Life Programs is a newly formed corporation developed to be an extension of service to people with disabilities. Adult Life Programs will serve persons in a retirement setting where vocational training is no longer a desire but services are still needed to maintain health and dignity. Our focus at Adult Life Programs will be to provide the needed support to promote wellness, activity, community integration and self care to individuals as they age and support family care givers.
We recently started construction on an additional facility that will provide a vital service need to Clay County in which there are currently no local options for such care and is a definite gap in services. Research has been done to offer a state of the art facility that is completely handicapped accessible.
